A note from Jeremy
Therapy can be strange. It can be scary and confronting. However, therapy can also lead to growth, learning, and change. With that in mind, I want to first thank you for having the courage to seek support and taking the step in investing in yourself and your own growth. This choice does not mean you are weak or broken, rather, it reflects strength, self-awareness, and a desire for something different.
Life often presents us with challenges we don’t feel fully prepared for - whether thats in our relationships, sense of identity, family dynamics, careers, or any other life circumstances. When these experiences accumulate, we can find ourselves reacting in ways that feel automatic, stuck, or disconnected from who we are or who we want to be.
I was drawn to becoming a therapist through my own experiences of feeling lost and misaligned with the way I wanted to live life. It was through being in a supportive, non-judgemental space - a space where I felt seen and free to explore, as well as gently challenged at times - did I start to notice meaningful change in myself. That experience opened my eyes not only to how powerful it can be to have a space like this for growth, but also to the profound capacity humans have for transformation. This ultimately led me to want to offer that same kind of space to others, if and when they feel ready to step into it.
I believe therapy offers a space to slow things down, bring curiosity to our patterns, learn where they may come from, and understand what matters most moving forward. My work is deeply informed by mindfulness and a belief captured in this quote often attributed to Viktor Frankl: “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.”
By noticing and gently expanding this space, we may begin to feel less constrained, creating room to respond with greater clarity, flexibility, and alignment with our values, rather than being governed by habits, fears, or patterns that no longer serve us.
My Approach
In my work, I draw from a range of approaches including mindfulness-based practices, CBT, DBT, EFT, polyvagal-informed work, and person-centered therapy. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Rather, my goal is to work collaboratively with you, to follow your lead, staying curious, and meeting you where you are. I strive to offer a space that feels grounded, genuine, and human, where we can explore together at your own pace.
Shaped by my international upbringing, I bring cultural humility and sensitivity into the therapy room, with an awareness of how culture, family, and identity shape our inner worlds. I offer therapy in both English and Cantonese.
My role is not to “fix” you or force you to change, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and respect. Together, we can explore what has shaped you, learn what is most important, and move toward a way of living that feels more aligned and intentional.
If this resonates with you, I would be honored to support you as you create space for greater clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
